The daughter of Krypton is ready to party and shine as Warner Bros. Studios releases the official teaser trailer for their upcoming superhero film Supergirl. View trailer below.

Kara Zor-El celebrates her 23rd birthday by travelling across the galaxy with her dog Krypto. Along the way, she meets the young Ruthye Marye Knoll and encounters a tragedy that leads her on a “murderous quest for revenge.

I was wondering when this trailer for this upcoming film was going to appear. With James Gunn’s new vision for the DC superheroes bringing new energy into this franchise, it was only fitting that a new iteration of Kara Zor-El was going to be in the cards and her in her own movie. This teaser trailer shows lots of new footage and promises a lot of the same type of visual flair and style as in 2025’s Superman. Of course, I do love Alcock (loved her as the younger version of Rhaenyra Targaryen in House of the Dragon), so it will be interesting to see what she does with the character. Plus, I am also curious to see Jason Momoa’s Lobo in the film. All in all, I am intrigued to see what Supergirl brings to the cinematic table and how this second feature film outing in Gunn’s DCU.
