The “dragon lady” is back and ready to burn as 20th Century Fox Studios releases the official teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel The Devil Wears Prada 2. View trailer below.

Almost twenty years after making their iconic turns as Miranda, Andy, Emily and Nigel—Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci return to the fashionable streets of New York City and the sleek offices of Runway Magazine in the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2006 phenomenon that defined a generation.

I will admit that I am a fan of the original The Devil Wears Prada movie. It was cute, lighthearted, and some good fashion costume outfits (but what do I really know of fashion). Plus, I did like Hathaway, Blunt, and Streep in the movie; all of which were solid in their respective roles. The movie itself was one-note endeavor and really didn’t call for a sequel. Yet, flash forward years later and a new movie is on the horizon. This teaser trailer for the upcoming film doesn’t show off much, but does show the return of Hathway’s Andrea and Streep’s Miranda coming back. How the start will start and ultimately play out remains a mystery. Still, I, for one, am looking forward to seeing where it all goes.

The Devil Wears Prada 2  arrives in theaters on May 1st, 2026
