Well, I’ve just had one of those depressing moments that have probably happened to everyone who has ever used a computer. After a bit of a delay, I was just wrapping up the last post in my “Modern Doctor Who Countdown” when a glitch with the internet and my own absent-mindedness led to me losing a whole bunch of work.

I mean, not too much work. But enough to be a bit bummed out. It was most of my comments on the last three stories that I had to write about. My top three Doctor Who stories, so unsurprisingly, I had a fair amount to say…a fair few words.

Now, of course I’ll write those up again. They won’t be the same as before, but hopefully, they’ll be as good as what was lost, or even better. But I don’t have it in me to work on that right now.

So instead you get this post about a fun Superman mug that I have!

I was going to write up a little comment about this at some point, so why not right now?

As a bit of a nerdy guy, I have a fair few nerdy mugs. I have never bought them myself, but they end up being pretty regular gifts that I get from people. And currently, this is my favorite.

As you can see, it shows Superman, replicating images drawn by different artists, highlighting the various ways Superman has been depicted over the decades.

Lots of views of one of the greatest superheroes ever!

Now, I like Superman–quite a lot. But that’s not the only reason that I like this particular mug. It really elevated in my opinion when I noticed what was written on the bottom.

I mean, that’s good advice, right? Rock solid. And exactly the sort of amusement to distract me from my blogging woes. Tomorrow morning, I’ll have a cup of coffee from that cup, and soon after that, I’ll get back to work on that post.
